The 400 plus species of Eucalyptus include the worlds tallest broadleaves and fastest growing trees. Eucalyptus niphophila is a well known and attractive species of the Eucalyptus, originating from Australia and was a winner of the Award of Garden Merit in 2002.
Eucalyptus niphophila features fantastic white bark that can flake off into some beautiful cream / grey patches during the summer time. Throughout the year, Eucalyptus niphophila displays magnificent foliage with green leathery leaves with cream flowers appearing during the late spring and lasting out until the end of summer. Eucalyptus niphophila will make a fabulous ornamental tree fit for a high altitude or an exposed location too allow its striking bark to be admired.
