The Fastigiata is a beautiful variant of the Silver Birch that is suitable for all garden types. Given its year round bark interest and its small size, it is the best option for garden tree.
The Upright Birch has the same beautiful silver bark colour that is hard to miss from a distance and can spruce up all gardens, especially in the winter months when there wont be any leaves. Fastigiata also has a beautiful dense display of green foliage which turns to a yellow colour which compliments the bark colour very well to provide a stunning sight during Summer and Autumn. With a mature height of around 7-12m, this variant of the Betula pendula is a perfect choice for a garden with limited space where a larger tree wouldn’t fit.
