This is a new American cultivar of the Common field maple.  A beautiful tree which holds a more compact and relatively columnar shape in comparison with its parent, Acer campestre.  This tree is known for its stunning appearance and unique features that set it apart from other trees. It is a deciduous tree that grows up to 8 meters tall and 6 meters wide when mature. Its leaves are green with a glossy finish, and they turn yellow in the fall, providing a beautiful autumnal display.

One of the key features of this tree is its ability to grow in a wide range of soil types. It thrives in well-drained soils and prefers full sun to partial shade. This makes it an ideal tree for many different types of gardens and landscapes.

Another notable feature of Acer campestre 'Queen Elizabeth' is its dense, compact growth habit. This makes it an excellent tree for use as an avenue tree, hedge or screen. Additionally, it is a relatively low maintenance tree that requires minimal pruning or shaping.

Overall, Acer campestre 'Queen Elizabeth' is a lovely tree that would make an excellent addition to any landscape. Its unique features, adaptable nature, and ease of care make it a popular choice among gardeners and landscapers alike.
